The inaugural merdeka post

'What's your name?','Very good'.These were the words spoken by my business law lecturer to me after i've answered his law question during lecture correctly.He came up with a question...three students couldn't come up with the right answer and he was getting fed up.Upon noticing this,i raised my hand and took the opportunity to set things straight.Who would have thought my glory day could come so soon?Lolz.My effort has finally paid of.It really made my day today.

And as planned,me together with my roommate and derek celebrated jason tan's birthday albeit a belated one.We had a gastronomic good time in flaming steamboat buffet restaurant.All you can eat and drink...the price was dirt cheap too.With just RM18 nett,you can eat till you drop.Where else can you find such a good steamboat bargain?Tell me!Tell me!So being our jakun selves,we stuffed our stomachs silly for 1 1/2 hours.My roommate,jason tan and derek went to cyber cafe next while i headed to topman to buy a tee.

Managed to find a superb one with a catchy phrase.I like tees with attractive statement on it.The cheekier the better.While paying at the counter,i bought two wristbands which are in support of the male cancer awareness campaign.It is initiated by topman and the wristbands are designed by a reputable english bloke which i've somehow forgotten his name.Brilliant wristbands.It feels good to note that i'm doing it for charity too.By the way,they are the cloth type wristbands which come in blue,green and red.I bought blue and green.

They say 'SMILE' and 'ACT' respectively.Yeah,and since it was merdeka,derek and i managed to spent some time to enjoy the merdeka celebration put up by sunway lagoon resort.There were clowns,fire spitting show and local bands performance.Gerhana ska cinta were one of them.I think they were the only decent band among the list.I love their style.Similar to no doubt.In spite of all the fun,i had to do a hell lot of walking when going to pyramid from my hostel and back.

After watching the performances,derek and i decided to call it quit and so decided to go home.Barely 10 minutes after reaching my hostel,ben msged me...asking me to watch fireworks at pyramid.And so i walked back to pyramid again with him.Damn painful my feet but it was worth it.Lucky for us,we arrived exactly 30 seconds before the clock struck 12.The fireworks were nothing short of magnificent.Lasted for almost 10 minutes and the rare privilege of being so close added to the excitement.

I saw those couples which formed the majority of the crowd there enjoyed it more than us.Well,watching fireworks while hugging your gf from behind is always the best,ain't it?The neck is aching now after tilting it 45 degrees during the duration of the fireworks display.Lolz.I'll stop here and happy merdeka day to all.Till next time.

Ipod v Blogging

Just completed my microeconomics tutorial for the week.15 questions in total.Ain't exactly piece of cake when i spent almost 2 hours to solve them.They sure cracked my brain!Well,where should i begin?Yes,my plan to buy a tee at pyramid on sunday failed miserably coz i practically slept through the whole day.That's what happened when u didn't sleep for the whole night.

I'm in no hurry neway,so it's pretty okay.Class was pretty much an unnerving affair especially the business law tutorial.I wanna make a good impression!Too bad,today wasn't really my day.What to do?Try better next time.It seems that no amount of law study can pull me through safely in tutorial.Somehow the lecturer will ask a power question that will hit you...hard.Nevertheless,i'm DETERMINED!My glory days will come,that's for sure.Lolz.Went groceries shopping today at pyramid.Bought myself:

1)Listerine teeth and gum defence mouthwash 750ml
2)Nivea deodorant(spray-on type) aqua cool.
3)HL milk banana flavour
4)Baskin Robbins ice-cream(pint size) hey,got 31% discount!Not only on the 31st alone.Due to merdeka celebration,it has been extended to three days starting from the 29th.So come on and head on over to the top floor of pyramid!

Contemplating on getting a haircut tomorrow.Gonna go for barber :D.Cheap and stylish.What hairstyle now?John terry's?Oh,it's almost 4.15am now.Gotta sleep.Tomorrow got early morning class(8.30am).Goodnight.

It's good to be on TOP

Four games.Four wins.Four clean sheets.I couldn't have asked for a better start to a season than this.Time does flies,it felt like only yesterday chelsea and lyon were embroiled in the essien saga.Now,mickael essien is officially a blue.I'm surprised with all the fuss bout the squad rotation policy.This is nothing new actually and could be seen in the previous management by mr.ranieri himself.So lads,please work hard and you will be duly rewarded by the gaffer!

With such an impeccable squad,i can sense that this season's chelsea can outdo themselves again to retain the championship while breaking every record imaginable along the way.Right now i'm enjoying the last day of my stingy one week mid sem break.One week is never enough to do all the things that you wanna do.I just came back from ipoh today.I'm proud to say i've spent my 4 days in ipoh rather fruitfully.I completed my business stats' tutorial and did some revision on business management and business law.

I watched red eye with jian hua on friday night too.Thank god,my decision to watch red eye over the cave was a clever one indeed.So everybody go watch red eye if u like suspense or cillian murphy(scarecrow in batman begins)/rachel mcadams(the notebook).And weekend life has been pretty good here in sunway.I found myself a few faithful football kakis.So now i don't have any excuse for missing any chelsea matches again.It's really nice to be able to know guys who share the same fiery football passion as you.I should really thank my lucky stars.

Tomorrow(that's sunday...yes,i've a weird time zone),i might be going to pyramid with my roommate to buy err...a vacuum cleaner :).Prolly i'll also buy a piece of tee from either topman or fcuk.Time to expand my wardrobe a lil' bit.Haha.One tee is the max that i can afford.Clothes from those two brands ain't cheap.I'll be celebrating yet another birthday party this coming tuesday too.It's for my roommate's fren,jason tan.Right now,flaming restaurant has been earmarked as the venue of choice.Might be watching a movie at pyramid after that too.More on that next time.Till then.
