Something blue this way comes

Wahsey!This is my first entry on the blue army since they clinched their first ever premiership title after 50 years.But in the last two months,the footballing world has been pretty quiet.This is the period where most of the footie fans are suffering from football withdrawal symptoms.Actions on the pitch are few and far in between.

Though there are other football competitions being held around the globe i.e the forgetable confederations cup(mickey mouse cup) and cup libertadores(south american's equivalent of european cl),nothings beats watching epl.So our daily or weekly(whatever fancies you) fix of football is by keeping updated with all those off the pitch actions.Transfers and players' rumours are the topics that sell papers at this time of the year.Like any other clubs,chelsea have been busy in the transfer market.

For this upcoming 05/06 season,it has been quite special for us.With more players going out than in.As mour puts it,'Having too much money at your disposal can be a real headache'.Though his particular statement might have hints of arrogance in it,i certainly don't think so.With abramovich's thick cheque book backing us now,i feel that many of those clubs who wanted to sell their players to us are trying to take advantage of this fact.

When they know chelsea is interested,they will purposely inflate the price of the player to an insanely high level.More often than not,the player doesn't worth that much at all.A case in point is the recent michael essien affair.The bloodsucking lyon boss is asking for a ridiculous 30 million pound selling price.What more,he wanted a chelsea player coming to the club.Look,essien is young.He has the talent and a great future ahead of him.

But for someone who has just played a handful of champions league football and is yet to represent his country,he obviously doesn't justify the price at all.Lyon boss also went as far as to say essien is of the 'same quality' as gerrard.Please!Don't ever compare with someone who is from a totally different level.I'm not saying essien will be a bad buy but like what the gaffer said,'It's okay if the deal goes through,otherwise it's still good'.

The midfield department has seen the most changes.With parker going to tyneside,smertin on loan to charlton and the latest acquisition - shaun wright-phillips.We are lucky to secured shaun's services.His blazing speed and agility will certainly add some oil into the midfield engine.And we had a hard time in buying a decent striker.The likes of adriano,schevchenko and trezequet have refused to budge from their respective clubs.

So our crespo is recalled back from milan plus carlton cole from villa.After a dismal first season performance from drogba and kezman(now an athletico madrid player),the arrival of crespo and cole will hopefully give the attacking department renewed vigour.Together with the new defender,asier del horno,the four of them make up the new and returning faces of chelsea for season 05/06 at the moment.There's also a chap called lassana diarra.Not quite sure,but he's very young(20 years old) and most likely we won't be seeing much of him.

Neway,he has been earmarked as the replacement for our dear makelele.Right,the pre-season tour in america is already underway and chelsea has played their penultimate match against dc united which they won 2-1.On the 30th of july,there will be a rematch of chelsea and ac milan.In the first match,chelsea won the game by a slim margin of 1-0.And not forgetting,on this coming august 7th,it's none other than the community shield match between the epl champs and fa cup winners - blues v gooners!If chelsea win,it would be a perfect start for their title defence!Go go chelsea!

Movie gigolo

Before i move on,the title needs some explaining.Movie gigolo is actually the male equivalent of movie whore.Haha.Get it?

Watched stealth this evening with benjamin and khairi at pyramid.My first movie outing with my coursemates.Previously was with my housemates and gang (the island).Yeahz,perhaps you've sensed this coming after all...it's ANOTHER movie review!!!Yeahz,rock onz!This one isn't so good i think if compared to the island since both of them come from same sci-fi genre.

In case u don't know what the hell is stealth all about,let me give you a brief rundown (spoilers alert!!!).It's a story set in the near future,three highly skilled pilots are selected for a programme to combat terrorism by using advanced military jets.Think hypersonic jets and loads of heat sensor-equipped missiles.Then an AI jet comes along and joins the party.

Three pilots are unhappy with their non-human colleague.Argument ensues.AI jet goes hay-wire.Pilot dies.A plan is hatched to track down and stop the AI jet from wrecking more havoc.AI jet becomes good again and commits kamikaze to protect the two pilots left.The female pilot calls the male pilot pussy at the end.Credits roll.

From all the three actors - josh lucas,jessica biel and jamie foxx(the three Js,is that a coincident or what?),i think i only know jamie.But jessica biel gives me some sort of a vague memory.Dunno which movie i've seen her starred in before.She looks similar to denise keller from mtv too.Neway,wanna know why this movie sucks?Coz ah there's a huge problem with the lousy dialogue and cheapskate acting.There's no chemistry between the three of them at all.

Thank god,the director has seen this coming i guess.Otherwise,you won't be seeing so many jet flying scenes coming right at you faster than you can say 'mach 3'.And then when the three of them went to take a vacation in thailand,there's this thai girl who appeared out of nowhere.I think seriously her character was rather pointless lor.Just an excuse to squeeze more screen time for jamie (coz his character gonna crash his jet into a mountain and dies midway through the movie :P) and she didn't say anything at all.

Utter waste of time!Totally out of scope!The AI jet's voice also one kind.Very similar to the robot in err...i robot.Reminds me of the air-borne version of herbie too.Haha.There's also this sickness of stereotyping lar.Why izzit the terrosists must wear turbans and have long moustache?Why izzit it must always be the middle-east people who play the terrorists?You get what i mean?I hardly see westerners portraying as terrorists in movies anymore.

Their weapons in the movie also look very inferior like that.There's this huge gap in technology between both sides in this movie lar.No wonder,they die so fast lor.One missile also kau tim all of them already.What lar?!

Then my student card not yet ready somemore.So blardee expensive the tix.If every week also watch ah,soon i gonna go pokai dee.Okayz lar,that's the end of my review and the movie sucks.Only for special effects fans.

Aih...this is gonna be the last free week for me.There are only lectures for the debut week.So there are plenty of breaks in between.Next week is when the real business comes in...literally,haha.Goodbye freedom,hello battlefield!

Birthday party and a certain island

Had a great night yesterday.I attended jason's(my roommate) birthday party at sunway pyramid's pizza hut.There were six of us all altogether.The rest were jason(yes!there are two jasons) tan,alvin,derek and kevin.I just got to know them this week.Some are introduced to me by my roommate and some by derek.All are super friendly chaps.They really make me feel welcomed here.

Here's a big THANK YOU to all of you guys.We had some fantastic pizzas,mushroom soups and err...parmesan breads!It was actually a joint birthday party for jason and derek.Since i'm the new member here,i was given the privilege of not contributing any amount money for the birthday gifts lor.Alvin brought along his digi cam but he forgot to charge the battery beforehand so we can only managed to snap a few pix.Haha.There was a particularly funny moment during the meal.

Alvin couldn't stop mentioning bout the hot girl who was seated on our far right.Being the perverted him,he kept commenting on the girl's assets.That's not all,the way he talked bout it coupled with his animation really made us laugh like shit.We then headed straight to tgv.Jason suggested watching the cantonese movie bug me not which i misheard as fuck me not.Sot jor.All us laughed out loud again.

Gila sialz.Anyway,we decided to watch the island instead which proved to be a wise decision.Seriously,i would say it's the movie of the month ler.Far better than the rushed-plot-plus-lousy-acting-of-dr.doom/mr.fantastic/invisible girl-fantastic 4.But i'm of the opinion that movies with special effects are better watched at the cinema.

Whereas chinese movies which involves loads of talking and minimal special effects should be reserved for watching at home.Since i'm in the subject of movies,i'm gonna put my 2 cents worth on the island.Hmm...it has been a while since i last reviewed a movie.Here goes:

The island is not just a pure eye spectacle movie.I think that it has well-balanced plot to boot too.Everything is laid out nicely so that you won't get confuse midway through the movie.Mr.obi wan kenobi excelled in his role as lincoln six echo(cool cool name) and i prefer his acting in this movie to star wars.Somehow i feel that he's so much more livelier and human here.

Star wars really didn't do his acting skills justice.It kinda stiffled his ability and so made his acting very wooden-like.Not good.Of course this unofficial review won't be called a review w/o my mentioning bout the current hollywood 'it' girl:Scarlett johansson!To be honest she really looked stunning in the movie manz.I especially like her pouty lips and milkier than ever white skin.She's just a year older than me!!!

Together with the long blonde hair...she's simply babelicious!I mean all along i've known that she's hot but after watching the island,her status in my leng lui-o-meter has just ascended a few notches.And then mr.boromir.I wonder why he always plays the bad guy role.Like getting stereotyped already.The movie only picked up speed after bout half an hour of watching.If you like actions coming to you fast and furious,you better stay away from the toilet during that period.

And i realised that there weren't much changes,tech-wise in 2019 except for those anti-gravity trains and super cool bikes.There was this msn search booth in the city streets which was very realistic and true.Something tells me that this is gonna be possible in the near future.There was this cool mobile too:Nokia 8800.What a beauty!When i saw ewan mcgregor's character using it,it straight away reaffirmed my fascination for that mobile.I bet i can choose this over SE k750i.

Though the latter wins flat out with its features,design and exclusivity still rule!Also the island was another excuse of promoting products' brand.Throughout the movie,i have witnessed puma,nokia,calvin klein,tag heuer,chevrolet,xbox,etc.Look out for the scenes when the clones(lincoln six echo and jordan two delta)interacted with humans in the real world.It sure will tickle your funny bone.

Stunned shit

Here i am,blogging from my room at sunway monash condo.It has been a culture shock week for me so far.Let's talk bout my programme,so far i've yet to known any locals(maybe an odd one or two but nothing significant).Something tells me that there are only a handful of locals in my course.Some that i've gotten close to now are an indian indon,a malay indon and an african-arabian.

Is that cool or wat?Haha,i seriously have no idea.And most of my coursemates are fond of playing football and futsal.Yeah,that's right,if you're a footie fan you won't feel left out here.Football(or rather soccer like what coursemates prefer to say)is universal.It connects the people from around the globe.Too bad my football and futsal boots are still in ipoh.Think i can only play at least from next month.Everthing is within walking distance here.

The football field is just opposite my condo,there's also another one at extreme park and the futsal courts are at sports planet.And the girls in my course,yes there's a korean which looks like a famous korean pop singer BoA(leng lui sialz),african,chinese indons(leng luiz sialz too).I'm looking forward to go to campus everyday :D.The three day orientation had officially ended yesterday w/o much noise and fanfare.

A bit dull and bordering on boredom.Just non-stop briefing at the lecture theatre for three straight days.The final day was a bit interesting,we had an EQ interactive workshop.My EQ score is average it seems.Well it's just a rough gauge,not too bad.On top of that,there were photo-taking session(for college id),tutorial signing up session(yes!we choose our own tutorials!),library orientation cum tour and a crash campus tour guided by the seniors.

Speaking of whom,the seniors were not being helpful here.It's better if they contributed more by organising more ice-breaking related activities.Maybe they should organise a trip to sunway lagoon for freshies just like what the monash students did.Next week the lectures gonna start follow by tutorials on the subsequent week.Going to campus now is like entering a foreign place.Apart from the food and admin staff,everything is so 'unmalaysian'.

Gotta adjust to this culture shock lor.So for local flavour,i stick with my roommate and his frens for dinner.Ahhh,the joy of speaking manglish!Back in campus,it's all bout accent,accent and accent.Must open my ears BIG BIG or else i won't catch what my foreign friends are saying.And did you realise there are so many nice cars here in the sunway vicinity?I'm not just talking bout those in campus,it's bandar sunway as a whole.

So far,i've seen a nissan skyline R34 GTR(as driven by shawn yue in initial d),mazda rx-7(as driven by edison in initial d)plus...this one really makes me drool all over,mitsubishi lancer evo IX!!!Woohoo!Damn cekap sialz i tell you,it was parked right in front of the lobby at pyramid!Omg!Think i'm gonna go crazy!There's so much i wanted to tell you actually,but wait i gotta go pick up my laundry from the washing machine now.

Yipididuda zipidiyeh

Don't let the cheery title fool you.Leaving ipoh for petaling jaya ain't easy i tell you.I'm having rojak feelings now.Little bit heavy-hearted and little bit excited.If u asked which one affects me more,i would say heavy-heartedness far outweighs excitement.

Oh yes,i'm nervous also manz.In the dark on what's in store for me.How's the orientation gonna be like?Hope i'm not chosen to do embarassing stuff lar.Very pai seh one.But if forced to do also no choice what,must become thick-faced a bit lor.I drove to the hostel today to get my room keys but i've yet to make the payment.

'Supposedly' i've to show the payment receipt to the management geh but i'm unclear of the exact amount as i don't have the hostel bill.So when i said i've to postphone the payment at least until next week,the management aunty's face expression also changed already.I dunno if i'm sensitive bout there were moments when the management aunty didn't feel like assisting me in the checking in procedure.

Maybe she is scared i'll not be staying there in the end.Then the management uncle also one kind.When i first went into the office,i told him i wanted to check in and he asked me to wait.After waiting for like 10mins or so(i was sitting there),the management uncle asked the management aunty,'What's the boy doing here?'.Gila sialz,only 10mins and the management uncle has completely forgotten that there's a boy wanting to check in!

That was the most amazing short-term memory loss i've witnessed yet.So they have allocated a twin-sharing room for me on the sixth floor of block A.Initially i applied for single occupancy(i regard self-privacy highly,coz if i slept in b'day suit also nobody will bat an eyelid unless got hidden cctv cameras lar)but no vacancy is available.Besides my new roommate and i,there will be another 4 persons.This will make it 6 in total.

And i met my roommate right at the doorstep for the first time when i was moving my stuffs in.His name is jason i think,forgot already.Gotta confirm next week.Looks like i'm another casualty of short-term memory loss also.Jason's a nice chap.He was actually preparing to go to campus but instead he helped me to clean up the room and apologizing for leaving the room in a messy state.We did the customary introduction chat and i found out that he's a penangite.

Good good,i can improve my hokkien vocabulary already next time.So the room is quite spacious,wardrobe is bigger,comes with air-con.From my room window,i can see sunway lagoon in the west.I'll officially move in on this coming monday while my course's orientation will start on wednesday.So the next blog entry will be drafted in my hostel room.Gotta apply for broadband first at the management office,jason said it will take two days.

That's it.One bloody whole week of sleeping till 12pm.I'm damn sure am pissing every single person in the house with my sleeping pattern.I've stopped working this month,following my aunty's suggestion.Still they wanted me to go to the office once in a while..to keep watch or something as they can't tahan seeing me doing absolutely nothing in the house.

Come on,what's bloody wrong with me doing absolutely nothing in the house?I know sleeping so much is wrong what more i've been doing this for one week.I just bloody refuse to wake up early.What's the point?As if there's a life waiting for me to save in the morning.Waking up late is good..hell,i'll be wasting half a day without my knowledge.I don't have to care bout what i gonna do to pass the time.Most importantly,there's fucking NO RESPONSIBILITY!

On top of it,i didn't leave the house to go out with friends.Wait..what friends?No more friends for me.All are gone elsewhere.All of them are already in the unis.So who's left?Only jian hua is here now.But he's leaving soon.He's been the best buddy i ever had.The past weekend,he's been asking me out but i rejected flat out.Why?Coz i don't have the fucking mood to go out.

And the commencement date of my course is nearing,i need to worry bout packing my luggage;buying a few clothes,etc.Feels so hard to leave ipoh again after staying here for six months and more already.Gotta start all over again,making new friends and so on.Whatever it is,i just don't want any of those politics shit in the class.Like i'm-in-this-group-and-you-are-in-that-group-so-mind-your-own-business kinda thing.Not like it's avoidable..neway,i hope the effect is minimal.

Why can't we all become one big group of friends?Like in our secondary school days.Surely,we'll have our own small set of friends but not to the point of severing ties with others in the class lar like what happened in my a-level class last time.And speaking of which it's saddening to know that i'm all but forgotten in most of my ex-classmates' mind.Especially those not so close to me.A good example is the yahoo group that is created by one of them.

After reading their msgs,only the other wai kit is being mentioned.Yes,there are two wai kits in the class.Let me make this CLEAR,i'm not trying to seek popularity here.It's just that everytime the name wai kit is being mentioned,they will automatically assume it's the other wai kit.HELLO?What's bloody wrong?Where's the logic gone?Left in the bathroom?I know i know,the other wai kit is far more intelligent than me mar,plus he's going to NUS and far far more sociable than me right?If you were to ask them to choose which is the better one of coz they will not hesitate to choose him.

Actually,they don't need to choose..i never 'existed' neway.For the dunno-how-many-times in my life i feel so worthless and outcasted.Okay,i'm a fair guy..before i start pointing fingers and pushing the blame to them,i need to reexamine myself first.What have i done to deserve this?Yes,i'm a bit of an anti-social.I tried my best to fit in but i failed miserably.All because of i can't speak fluent mandarin.So that's the reason why our primary school teachers kept saying bout learning more languages will do you good eh?The advice couldn't be so true now.

One more thing,i always take friends for granted.I seldom make the effort to better the relationship,constantly leaving it to my friends to do the job.Guess that's why i'm such an ignored figure to the majority of girls in my class.So many flaws..see already girl also run lar.

Changing?I'm trying but don't expect a miracle from me.And i can't change to suit everyone's taste.I admit i'm a loser but what can i do?Every day i'm learning how to be more receptive for the girls still i yielded nothing spectacular.Prolly all of you gonna say i deserved to be like this.Yes,i'm boring,don't come near me.

I've been proved wrong.My ex-clasmates are not like what i accused them of.Suffice to say,all is well and steady.I apologize for behaving in a ridiculous manner.I guess i'm just blinded by anger in a spur of the moment.I've learnt my lesson.

All about sleeping

I notice that i've been sleeping so much these days.On top of it,i'm sleeping very late just for the sake of refusing to sleep early.Waking up at a late late time till the sunlight is shining down on me.Have my brunch and sleep again.Almost half of time has been spent sleeping.

To me sleeping is like a form of escape albeit a temporary one.No need to be worried and get tensed up bout the fucking problem bothering me.Obviously something is very wrong lar but i can't help it.I need help.I need to be fixed.
